New for 2025
On-site acute-care medications
We fully understand no one wants to come in for a sick visit and then wait for a prescription to be ready at the pharmacy. New for 2025, we will have 45+ medications for acute medical needs on-site. Everything from antibiotics to creams and ointments to steroids and breathing treatment medications, we hope to have many of the medicines you need to get you well again without going to the pharmacy. New monthly plan options
For those who love what we have always done, nothing is changing. Until now, there has only been one option: $40/month and $20/visit. But we have listened to many of you who desire more inclusive options. Starting in January 2025, two new monthly plan options will be available. Hickory Plus and Hickory Complete Care. Extended hours every other Tuesday
Starting January 14th, our office will be open until 4 PM every other Tuesday to help meet our patients' needs. One of the unique things about our office is our same-day appointments for acute, urgent medical needs. Expanding our Tuesday hours will add four routine appointment timeslots and four same-day appointments to our schedule, further enabling us to meet your needs.
Some things will never change
It is common to have apprehensions when changes come, but you can be certain that everything you love about Hickory will stay the same. We still make every effort to answer the phone live so you can talk to a real person, 30-minute appointments that almost always start on time, same-day/next-day appointments for acute needs, and the best providers and nurses around! It’s still Hickory Medical…Just better.
